My Story

Hi, I’m Chloe and I am the trainer at Nurture Dog Training. I have been obsessed with animals since I was little, and I grew up with a Labrador-Collie cross named Yogi. Even when I was young, I trained my dog and others, and I loved it.

However, it took me a few years into adulthood to realise I wanted to take this on professionally, and that is when I started my Animal Training Instructor course with PACT, as I knew how important it was to learn and develop before offering professional services.

Long-term, I am working towards becoming a Clinical Canine Behaviourist. So I will be expanding my knowledge over the next few years until I reach that goal. For now, I can help with anything dog training and can refer you to a qualified animal behaviourist when required!

My main why with dog training was my most recent dog, Patch (pictured). He was an English Springer Spaniel, and I just adored him. He loved nothing more than a tennis ball and some water to swim in, but he wasn't keen on other dogs, and we often ran into inaccurate information online. Then, after losing him, it really drove me to want to understand more about dogs and how we can help them live happier lives, since they help us too.

Now I have the skills to help more dogs. I will always consider you and your dog. The most effective training keeps guardians in mind to create achievable, lasting change.
